Linkapalooza
So much good stuff to read, so little time to write about it. Sorry, guys..."Lost" is on tonight so I only have time for some drive-by linkage. Well worth your time to read through them all, or at least bookmark and read when you've got a few.
- Amazing, amazing analysis of terrorist strategy and how extremists (in this case, Bush and Bin Laden) not only feed off each other, but need each other in order to maintain their power. Tremendous insight and really an absolute must-read.
- More on the topic of tribalism and the culture war that I covered in yesterday's post, again from Digby, who summarizes the whole deal masterfully.
- The intriguing concept of the "strict father/nurturing family" dynamic of conservative vs. liberal worldviews, excerpted by Kos in his review of George Lakoff's book, Don't Think of an Elephant.
- A nicely bulleted list of the Republican's history of changing the Senate rules as it suits them, just to keep the record straight for the time when they start bitching about the Dems filibustering every damn thing in sight and use it as a reason to get rid of the filibuster rule altogether. Assholes.
